In a conference meet full of hot sprint races, nothing compared with Kentucky freshman Sydney McLaughlin

The 2016 Olympian ripped another chunk of time off her 400-meter hurdles, running 52.75 seconds to tie for the ninth-fastest performer in global history. That time, equal to the fifth-fastest American all-time performer, would have won both the 2016 Olympic final and the 2017 World Championships final.

Florida swept the team titles. The women trailed LSU by a half-point entering the 4x400 relay and finished second behind Kentucky, which ran a national leader 3:25.99. LSU finished third.

LSU's quartet of Mikiah Brisco, Kortnei Johnson, Rachel Misher and Aleia Hobbs lowered the Tigers' own collegiate record in the 4x100 relay, clocking 42.05.

The Florida men, led by Grant Holloway's victories in the 110-meter hurdles and long jump, also won team honors.

Georgia's Kendal Williams had a spectacular weekend, claiming unexpected titles in both the 100 meters (9.99) and 200 meters (20.15).
