Jasmine Moore 1st Place Women's Long Jump and Triple Jump - SEC Outdoor Championships 2023
Published by
Jasmine Moore, a senior at Florida, won the women's long jump and triple jump titles, becoming the first female athlete to sweep both crowns indoors and outdoors in consecutive years since former Gators' standout Shara Proctor in 2009-10 at the Southeastern Conference Championships at LSU's Bernie Moore Track and Field Stadium in Baton Rouge. Moore, who has 11 career SEC championships, equaled the No. 9 all-time collegiate outdoor competitor in the long jump with a 22-7 (6.88m) effort in the sixth round, and won the triple jump with a 46-4.75 (14.14m) performance, also in the final round, securing her third consecutive title in the event, joining Georgia's Keturah Orji and Florida athletes Ciarra Brewer and Proctor in winning at least three in a row in the triple jump during their careers.
