Deshae Wise, a fifth-year senior at Texas A&M, finished fourth in the women's 400-meter hurdles in a personal-best 55.99 seconds at the Southeastern Conference Championships at the Ole Miss Track and Field Complex in Oxford, Mississippi. Wise overcame an eighth-place finish in the 100 hurdles in 17.02 to eclipse the 56-second barrier in the 400 hurdles for the first time.
